Two issues: 1. does not have a flash (or I haven't found it) which it is advertised on website to have a flash. 2. Made a huge mistake buying it at Sears. Bought warranty after the sales clerk told me it covered screen breakage. As you may know, I dropped and cracked the screen. Called for warranty and was told the clerks will tell you anything to make the warranty sell and the cracked screen was not covered. In addition told it would take at least 3 weeks to look at it an be sure it wasn't covered. Now the phone: great phone. Works good with square reader. Good reception. Only problem is dealing with Sears. Don't know where else to complain. Just don't buy the Sears warranty it is a wasted $45. I have ordered a new screen and will replace it myself.

Replaced my Huawei 8800 with the LG Escape and couldn't be more pleased. The Escape's excellent ergonomics and Jelly Bean OS are a winning combination. No problems yet with app operation, dropped calls or Consumer Cellular service. Great smartphone!

It's been a great phone for me so far. No issues with it freezing, turning off, or restarting on it's own. Battery life is good. I have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on all the time and after 36 hours of low to moderate use battery is still between 25% and 30%. If I turn GPS on battery drains faster. Turning off 'location services' will extend battery life as well so turn it on only when needed if it's an issue. For those that are experiencing poor battery life make sure you have GPS turned off and don't have any apps running in the background. If you're done with an app close it. An app that is 'idling' is still using battery power. Also, a lot of apps idling in the background can cause the phone to get warm because of the current flow. Also turn down the screen brightness. I find mine is very comfortable to use at about 20% brightness, although I do have to turn it up outdoors. SD card can only be used for data like pictures, videos, music, ring tones, etc. - not for apps. If you plan on having a lot of apps it may not be the best phone for you. This is the reason I rated it 4 stars vs 5.

I have had this smartphone for almost a month and it has performed fine. I had a Huawei 8800 before and the only disappointment I have is that there is no FM Radio. My Huawei had a radio built in. The battery is great and holds up well. The people that have battery problems must be running background data or apps that use power. I keep that stuff off until I need it and the battery lasts fine. I would like a better option for a protective case because the phone itself is so skinny there is not much to grip or hold on to.

It has been a great smartphone I've had it for about a month it does everything I want it to do but the battery goes so fast, that's the only problem. So if your looking at this phone to order make sure you get a car charger because you WILL NEED IT its a great phone other than that. Thanks Consumer Cellular would be nice if you up the text and data on my plan also.
